Terms of Service

Last updated: August 2026

Plain English, no small print buried in the small print. These terms apply when you take up a QuickWebsite plan. "We", "us" and "Quick Website" mean QuickWebsite (quickwebsite.uk); "you" means the business signing up.

1. What the service is

We design, build and host a website for your business. We build the complete site — two designs to choose from — before you pay anything. If you don't want it, you owe nothing and the preview simply comes down in due course.

2. Price and payment

The service costs £99 per month, taken as a recurring card subscription processed securely by Square. There is no setup fee and no fixed-term contract. The price includes design, build, hosting, a security certificate, a web address (see section 4), enquiry forms, reasonable content changes, and a professionally designed logo if you don't have one. If we're missing something you need, ask — if it's extra, we'll tell you the cost before doing anything.

3. Cancelling

You can cancel in any month, effective at the end of your current billing period, by cancelling the subscription or emailing support@quickwebsite.uk. After cancellation the website is taken offline and you owe nothing further. If a monthly payment fails and isn't resolved after we contact you, we may suspend or take down the site until payment resumes.

4. Domains (web addresses)

Where we register a domain for you as part of your plan, the domain is owned by Quick Website. Your business may continue using it for as long as your subscription remains active. If payment fails or the agreement is cancelled, the right to use the domain ends and we may redirect, retain or release it.

You can purchase the domain outright at any time — just contact us at support@quickwebsite.uk and we'll agree a fair transfer price and handle the paperwork.

Domain choices are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed until registered. If you use a domain you already own, it remains entirely yours and stays under your control: you point it at your site from your account, where we give you the exact records to add and check them for you. We do not need, and do not ask for, access to your domain.

5. Your content

You confirm that the business details, images and other material you give us are accurate and yours to use. Customer reviews shown on your site are genuine reviews quoted from your public profiles, with a link to the source. If anything on the site is wrong, tell us and we'll fix it promptly.

6. What we own and what you own

You own your business content. We own the design, code and any logo we create for you while the subscription is active; if you later purchase your domain and wish to take your site elsewhere, talk to us — we'll agree fair terms for transferring the design and logo too.

7. Our responsibilities and limits

We'll run your site with reasonable skill and care and aim to keep it online at all times, though no host can promise 100% uptime. We're not liable for loss of profits or indirect losses, and our total liability in any 12-month period is capped at the amount you paid us in that period. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

8. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms we'll post the new version here and email active customers. If a change genuinely disadvantages you, you can cancel before it takes effect.

9. The legal bits

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. Questions? support@quickwebsite.uk — a human reads every email.
