Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 2026
This explains what personal data QuickWebsite (quickwebsite.uk) collects, why, and the rights you have over it. We keep it short because we don't collect much.
1. Who we are
QuickWebsite builds and hosts websites for businesses. We are the data controller for the information described here. Contact: support@quickwebsite.uk.
2. What we collect and why
Enquiries. When you use a contact form or email us, we receive what you send — typically your name, business name, phone and email. We use it to reply and to provide the service you've asked about. Legal basis: taking steps at your request before entering a contract.
Businesses we contact. When we build a preview website for a business, we use publicly available business information — trading name, public phone number, public email or social profiles, and genuine public reviews. We use it to build the preview and to send one introductory email. Legal basis: legitimate interest in offering a relevant business service. Every email includes a simple opt-out, and if you say "no thanks" we won't contact you again.
Customers. If you take up a plan, we hold your confirmed contact details, your domain choice and your order history so we can run your website and account. Legal basis: performance of our contract with you.
Payments. Payments are processed by Square. We never see or store your card details. Square's own privacy policy applies to the payment itself; we receive only confirmation of payment status.
3. What we don't do
We don't sell personal data, we don't share it with third parties for their marketing, and we don't run advertising trackers on this site.
4. Where data lives and how long we keep it
Data is stored with our service providers (hosting on Vercel, database on Supabase in the UK/EU region, email with Zoho's EU service, payments with Square) under their respective safeguards. We keep enquiry and prospect data only while relevant, customer account data for the life of the account plus the period required for tax and legal records, and opt-out requests permanently — that's how we make sure we never contact you again.
5. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to our use of it (including to any marketing, at any time), and ask for it in a portable format. Email support@quickwebsite.uk and we'll respond within a month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled something, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
6. Changes
If this policy changes we'll post the new version here with a new date, and email active customers about any significant change.
