What we take on

Single rooms, whole houses, and the fiddly bits other people skip. Most of a decorating job is preparation. The paint is the quick part.

Painting & decorating

Ceiling first, then walls, then woodwork last, which is the order that saves doing anything twice. Fresh plaster gets a watered-down mist coat so the paint grips instead of peeling off in sheets.

Wallpapering

One wall for effect or the whole room, hung straight with the pattern matched at every seam. Tell us the paper before you buy it and we'll work out how many rolls the repeat needs.

Tiling

Kitchens, bathrooms and splashbacks, cut neatly and grouted cleanly. Say what tile you've got your eye on and we'll tell you what it wants behind it.

Glossing & woodwork

Doors, skirting boards, frames and stairs. It's the slowest part of any room and the first thing a visitor's eye lands on, so it's worth the extra day.

The extras

Curtain poles and light fittings back up before we leave. It's a small thing, and it's the difference between a finished room and a room with holes in it.

When you book us, you get Lee and Molly — not a different subcontractor every morning. We quote it, we do it, we clear up.

It means one conversation, too. What you agree at the door in the morning is what happens, because the people you told are the people holding the brush.

We usually work Monday to Friday, nine until five — ring to check — so nobody is sanding skirting at eight at night. If a room has to be usable that evening, say so and we'll plan round it.

Our customers keep using the same words: punctual, methodical, professional, and nothing too much trouble. We'd rather earn that than advertise it.
