Not a rotating crew of subcontractors — the same two people, on every job, from the quote to the last coat.
Two of us on a room means the prep and the painting run together. A bedroom is usually a day or two, a full house a couple of weeks, depending on how much woodwork is in it.
Furniture gets moved and sheeted before anything is opened. At the end of each day the room goes back to something you can live in.

Everyone gets stuck between three near-identical whites at some point. We'll tell you how each one is likely to look on your walls once the light gets at it.
Colour behaves differently in a north-facing back bedroom than it does on a tester card in the shop. It also matters what's underneath: a strong red or a dark feature wall can take three coats to bury.
Ask when we come to quote. It costs nothing and it saves repainting.

We're Halifax based and work up and down the valley. If your village isn't listed, ring anyway — it's usually a yes.

What a room costs comes down to its size, the state of the walls underneath, and whether the woodwork is going in at the same time.
So we come and look first. You get one figure covering materials and labour, and nothing starts until you've said yes to it.
