What we do

Six things people book.

Not sure which one you need? Pick a service to see what it involves, what it turns on, and what to have ready before you ring. Nothing here carries a price — colour is quoted once we have seen the hair.

Cut & finish

A wet cut, dried and finished, so nothing surprises you the first time you wash it at home. The finish is where the shape actually lives, so it is never rushed.

  • Washed and cut wet, then dried out on the day.
  • Bring a photo if you have a shape in mind.
  • Quoted on the day — it depends on length and how much work.

Colour

Roots, half head, full head, or a proper change of shade. What it costs comes down to length, thickness and how much of the head is done, so it is quoted rather than guessed.

  • Allergy alert test 48 hours before — ring in good time.
  • A consultation before any colour goes on.
  • A full head is a couple of hours in the chair.

Highlights & balayage

Foils where you want definition, babylights for something finer, and balayage for a soft line that grows out kindly rather than leaving a hard regrowth.

  • Foils for a defined, all-over lift.
  • Balayage for a grow-out you will not have to chase.
  • Allergy alert test applies here too.

Colour correction

Getting brass, banding or an old box dye back out. It is careful work, and lifting it safely often takes more than one appointment — you hear that at the start, not halfway through.

  • Often more than one sitting, said up front.
  • Bring the history — what has been on the hair matters.
  • A consultation first, always.

Blow dry & styling

For an occasion, a photograph, or no reason at all beyond wanting it to look right. Say what the day is and it can be dressed up or kept soft to suit.

  • Occasion styling for weddings and nights out.
  • Bring a photo of the finish you are after.
  • Ring ahead for busy Saturdays.

Treatments

Bond-building and conditioning for hair that colour and heat have taken a toll on. Often added onto a colour appointment rather than booked on its own.

  • Bond-building for over-worked hair.
  • Conditioning to bring softness back.
  • Ask when you ring about adding it on.
The salon

What it costs, and how to book.

Hair is not priced off a chart. What a colour costs comes down to length, thickness and how much of the head is being done, which is why we would rather quote you than guess.

Ring with what you have in mind, or send it through the form. You will have a figure and a time before anything is committed to.

  • Booked by phone, not by queueing.
  • A consultation first whenever you want one.
  • An allergy alert test 48 hours before colour.
  • One small team, so you are not passed around.
  • About ten minutes on foot from Halifax station.

If you have been putting a colour off because you are not sure it will suit you, come in and ask. Nobody will talk you into a full head on the spot.

The work.

What the work looks like when it is going well. No filters, no clever lighting, just hair that behaves after you leave.

Leave your number and a rough idea of when suits. If it is colour, say what is on your hair already.
