Goodwins is a family business in Northowram. We clean windows, gutters, fascias and conservatory roofs across Halifax and the villages next to it, on a regular round or as a one-off.
What we clean
Six things cover most of what we're asked for. Anything else, ring and describe the job.
Window cleaning
Glass, frames and sills. Pick a regular round, or ring when they need doing — whichever suits the house.
Gutter cleaning
Leaves, moss and grit out of the guttering before a full one starts running down the wall and staining the brickwork.
Fascias, soffits & UPVC
White plastic that has turned green in the weather, washed back down. Doors and sills included while we're there.
Conservatory roofs
Panels, bars and the little gutters between them, so the room stops feeling dim and the light comes back through.
Deep & builders cleans
Indoor work by the Gleam Team, including the dust left behind once the builders have packed up and gone.
Commercial
Shopfronts, offices and units, cleaned on a schedule that fits the business rather than getting in its way.
How it goes, first call to done
Nothing complicated. Most people ring, get a figure, and then forget about their windows for a month at a time.

Price depends on the size of the property, how many windows there are and how easy they are to reach. You hear it before anything is booked.
Rounds usually run every four to eight weeks. Change it, pause it or stop it whenever you like — just say.

Round your way
The round is built around Northowram. It runs out to Shelf, Hipperholme, Hove Edge and Queensbury, and down into Halifax. Further out than that, ring and ask.
Northowram sits high, and the weather comes straight across the tops. Glass up here films over quicker than it does down in town, which is why a lot of houses settle on four-weekly. Down in Halifax, six is usually plenty.
